SIIRI 12 WEEKS AFTER GIVING BIRTH

• Passed breeding examination (with highest possible score = excellent)
• Mentality tested*, gunshot proof (Unofficial test in Finland)

Siiri is the most energetic dog I have ever met !  She cannot sit or stand still in one place for for more then ten seconds. She loves everybody (too much) and jumps all over people.
Siiri is very talented and hard-working, which, combined with a very good memory, makes her easy to train. She is extremely fast, her abilities would make her a great hunter. We have done some lure coursing, but haven't been competing much. Once she took part to rr camp's lure competition which she won and once we competed in lure course competiton only for rr's - she was third.

Siiri used to be rather difficult to handle at shows, but with more age, she has become a real show stopper. She looks absolutely stunning. She captures the attention and is a true winner. I'd say that her worst part is tail - she carries it just too high. She wants to tell other dogs "I'm Siiri, watch out". We've tried different methods, but she still raises the tail when in the show ring. Maybe it's true that you cannot tame the wild one...
Siiri has also travelled a bit in the Eastern countries, but not that much as Iita. Siiri has twice been second best rr bitch in rhodesian ridgeback show dog competition and the results in Finland and abroad speak for themselves. More (only high lights) of her show results can be found here:

SIIRI'S SHOW RESULTS

Siiri had her first litter in the beginning of 2003. She was mated with a Danish (import from Canada) stud Witches LeCreme's Trick (aka Yankee). More info of the litter on their own PAGE. The litter really did good to her - since then she has matured more and she also recovered extremely fast from pregnancy.
Her second litter will be with our African import Karoskloof B to Harjaselän. This litter will hopefully born in March 2004.

I could write so much about Siiri, but the best way to get to know her, is to meet her. She is a ridgie with stunning conformation, enormous physics, playfull and clever mind. She also has very strong game insticnt. All that makes her a perfect ridgeback bitch for us - we are more than pleased with her. She is a ridgie you only get once in a lifetime !
